This is a true story. A real sad story. A dissapointing facts about very famous city.
If you ever went to Jakarta, or if you are a Jakarta citizen, you'll find what I write is true. By the time I write this, I don't know when it will changed. IMHO the earliest will be next two generations (assuming we are taking actions now).
If you are in Jakarta, or if you will be in Jakarta in the next few days, don't forget to take an observations on Jakarta's street. Not only 'Jalan Protokol', but the ordinary streets in Jakarta. You can easily find trash everywhere.
Sad but true.
You can even find people on the public bus trashing an empty can of softdrinks to the street. Without feeling guilty. Without thinking there might be other people standing on the street hit by the empty can. Without even thinking what will they do if other people trashing on their face.
More sadder facts can be found, if you lucky enough, to see a trash is thrown out through the window of expensive cars. If you are curious to see these events, try to watch it in a highway (Jalan Tol).
Those Uneducated Rich People.
No doubts if the rain falls, you can experience floods everywhere. And still the Jakarta citizens blaming their government (Pemerintah Daerah DKI Jakarta).
Why not blaming on theirself?

Bikin bete, emang. Nggak di angkot, di bis, di jalan tol. Pokoknya sampah bisa dibuang di mana pun, kecuali di tempat sampah :(.
