New RSS Feed

I've added a new RSS feed on my main blog. It is a blog of my son Aidan.

Cross-post Utility from Multiply.com

Since several days ago I tried to figure out how to synchronize my blog articles between blogger.com and multiply.com. Today I found out multiply.com provides a nice utility to enable cross-posting between multiply.com and blogger.com.

Unfortunately, this utility means that I only can post in multiply.com to be cross-posted in blogger.com. What I really need is from the other way around.

Is there any of you know how to overcome this problem? If there is, please let me know.

Making Other People Happy

Thanks to FeedjIT. I know that my blog is used by other people to find out a link to other websites which collects Indonesian food recipe. I hope they are happy to taste Indonesian food.

One Week with FeedjIT

After I installed two FeedjIT widgets earlier this week, I can monitor my blog's visitors quite easily. I found out that most of them found my blog through Resep Masakan Indonesia. It seems there are a lot of people who lives outside my country who want to taste Indonesian foods.

What is PhD?

Senyatanya, PhD adalah kependekan dari Philosophiae Doctor. Jenjang pendidikan tertinggi ini memang membuat banyak orang stress. Dan ternyata di luar sana, sama seperti bangsa Indonesia, sering membuat pelesetan untuk hal-hal yang membuat stress. Termasuk masalah PhD ini. Dan muncullah kemudian sebuah situs yang didedikasikan khusus untuk masalah-masalah yang berkaitan dengan PhD.

Jadi, apa sih sebenarnya PhD itu?

Di samping daftar yang ada di blog-nya Indra, perlu juga direnungkan daftar berikut ini:

Jika orang Islam merasa terganggu dengan suara dentingan lonceng gereja, mengapa mereka harus mengganggu istirahat orang lain dengan mengeraskan suara speaker ketika hendak melaksanakan ibadah Subuh?

Jika orang Islam tidak suka harta benda miliknya dirusak orang lain, mengapa mereka sering melakukan perusakan tanpa alasan yang jelas? Bukankah Rasulullah telah mencontohkan, bahkan pada suasana perang pun beliau melarang untuk merusak rumah ibadah umat lain. Bahkan memetik tanaman milik orang lain pun dilarang.

Mengapa jika orang Islam solat Idul Fitri maupun Idul Adha seringkali mereka meninggalkan bekas koran alas sholat di lapangan? Merusak kebersihan lingkungan saja! Suasana suci di hari Fitri malah diganggu dengan membuang sampah tak bertanggung jawab.

Perlahan Tapi Pasti blog ini mulai jarang diisi. Tapi, entry ini justru menunjukkan kalau blog ini tidak ditinggalkan. Jadi..jarang diisi iya, jarang diisi juga tidak. Paradox dah..
